This is a 6-part series of self-paced online courses. Throughout the courses you'll meet a blend of curated online resources consisting of videos, text, recommended readings and reflection exercises.

As a conclusion of this series of AAU Micros on Project Management you'll be eligeble to take an ISO 21500 or ISO 21502-Certificate exam which is issued by Danish Standards.

Learning Objectives:

• Knowledge and understanding of the general framework for project management both in terms of content, finances and organization.
• Knowledge and understanding of methods for organizing project work.
• Knowledge and understanding of involving the project's stakeholders, including communicating the project's progress, goals and results.
• Knowledge and understanding of methods and systematic ways of working in project work in order to work effectively as a project manager and participant.
• Knowledge and understanding of tools for analysis, structuring, planning, management and documentation of projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of tools for breaking down and estimating work packages.
• Knowledge and understanding of tools for determining critical paths in a project process as well as methods for determining milestones.
• Knowledge and understanding of planning and management tools regarding the project's timetables, resource consumption and finances.
• Knowledge and understanding of project work and management of projects.
• Reflect on basic principles and central theory of project management.

This course is for all students that wish to improve their knowledge, skills and competencies in Project Management . You will be able to apply the tools, methods and approaches presented in the courses into your own semester projects.

If you have a burning desire to work as a project manager in the future this is a great place to start! However, as many of todays organizations and companies are working project-based, it is also a great starting point for getting an understanding of what it means to work in a project-based profession or organization.

This AAU Micro consist of 5 smaller courses.

The workload for each course is 4-6 hours and the expected workload to complete the entire AAU Micro and gain an ISO21500 certificaiton is 20-30 hours.
